As a youth, if God has called you into ministry, you have to love praying and reading the word of God. While others are eating pancakes and porridge, you are out there fasting, praying and studying the scriptures, doing evangelism. At the wee hours of the night when sleep becomes very sweet, you are up seeking the face of God, seeking the purpose of God; up you are, seeking the anointing. If you are faithful to this, you will definitely be a voice to reckon with amongst the innumerable number of pastors in your generation.
Your vision might be to be the captain of your own industry, to develop a new line of product, you can give one to two hours of your sleep every night to brainstorming in order to discover new ideas, and to draw out plans that will lead you to achieve your goals, plans to beat competition, and plans to develop effective marketing strategy, if you do this, you will get good results.
Your chosen path may be that of an academic, you like to be a Professor, then you have to be an avid reader, you need to develop passion for books, the journey to becoming a Professor starts from being a student. You have to be a wise student. A wise student never plays with his books, he reads them, when others burst into a deep sleep, he burns the night candle, he has due respect for his teachers, when he is to choose between buying a candy and a dictionary, he goes for a dictionary, the fool goes for a candy. The truth is, if you want to be a successful student, the extra hours you direct into your studies is what will translate you from an ordinary student to an extraordinary student.
